Global warming, global government?
Anytime you get someone on the program with the title of 'Lord' you know you've got a great guest. Monckton has long been a global warming skeptic, and it would seem he's on the right track given the Earth hasn't warmed since that famed hottest year on record. Monckton stopped Al Gore's movie from being played in UK schools, and now is on a mission to stop the agreements in Copenhagen, which appears to be the basis for establishing global governments. Ref. The Yes Men Pull Off Prank Claiming US Chamber of Commerce Had Changed Its Stance on Climate Change
The business community got a shock on Monday when its leading advocacy group appeared to make a startling announcement. A statement purporting to come from the Chamber of Commerce said the group had dropped its opposition to congressional climate change legislation and would now even support taxing carbon emissions. The news wires quickly picked up the story, and within minutes it was being reported on the websites of outlets including the New York Times and Washington Post. It also made its way onto cable news, including the Fox Business Network. It was all a prank pulled off by the Yes Men.

All of this current hysteria concerning "climate change" (notice that it is not global warming anymore) is clearly more about giving certain elite people more power. Read the following to see what the upcoming Copenhagen meetings will be about:

Methane's role in global warming underestimated
By Dan Vergano, USA TODAY
Greenhouse gas calculations blame carbon dioxide too much for global warming, and methane too little, suggest researchers Thursday. In the journal Science, a team led by Drew Shindell of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York find that chemical interactions between greenhouse gases other than carbon dioxide and industrial aerosols cause more global warming than estimated by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and other efforts. I have asked other I know, but would love to put the question here:
Before the last 3-4 years, there was a increasing trend in average temperature that was obviously global warming/greenhouse gases and incited by man (according to the believers).
The last 3-4 years of actually cooling temperatures (not forecasted 3-4 years ago) are evidence that there is global warming/greenhouse gases effects because the temperature isnt getting cold enough (again, by believers). However, to not confuse people with the fact of the cooling temperatures, we will call it climate change.
I can only assume that if the temperature remained constant (very unlikely) from year to year, that would be evidence that man is doing something to the climate as well because it should have trended one way or another naturally, but man stopped it.
SO...
If the temperature goes up...we did it.
If the temperature goes down...we did it.
If the temperature remains the same...we did it.
The question is...
Is there any test or result that would prove that global warming due to greenhouse gases is not happening?
I didnt say climate change because anyone can look at historical average temperature plots and see the climate changes all the time, so I see that moniker as fairly stupid. However, I love the argument wall that the believers have built that basically includes all possible outcomes as proving their point.
