My Mom reported 3-4 inches of global warming fell in town yesterday. Apparently, Al Gore has gone to the Tiger Woods School of Media Relations as he has yet to even talk or acknowledge the Climate-Gate emails. The ground swell of need to honestly debate the subject gets the silent treatment from the king of the movement and they go on with a gigantic sorie where they generate more than 60 country's yearly carbon footprint in a few days. I am sure they will plant a dozen trees to offset it (just make sure they arent Christmas Trees).
Should we decrease our polution output? Certainly, but smartly.
However, I just feel that people like Gore are so vested in the Global Warming/Climate Change Religion that the thought that they might have been wrong (which should be a great day for us) frightens them to death. They lack the ability or capability to admit they might be wrong.
Again, we should work on making the environment better. Everyone should, but the fact that there are emails that clearly talk about a "trick" with the data that need be done to support their theories is disingenous at best. I am a engineer and deal with large quantities of data. If I did what these emails line out and got caught, the likelihood is I would be fired and at minimum my credibility with in the engineering community in my company would be zero. I expect no less from these guys playing with so manys livelihoods.

Green on display at Copenhagen summit
COPENHAGEN - From the moment one's airplane descends from the thick fog above Copenhagen, there is no doubt that this city has been given over to the United Nations climate summit. "Stop climate change!" reads a giant yellow sign on a boat moored just below the flight path. Before travelers even clear customs, they are hit with a barrage of summit-related ads - including one showing an aged President Obama in the year 2020, apologizing for world leaders' failure to stop the planet from warming. "This Text Is an Extremely Dangerous Document for Developing Countries": G77 Chief Condemns Secret US-Danish Climate Deal
The UN climate talks are in disarray here in Copenhagen after developing countries reacted furiously to leaked documents that show world leaders will next week be asked to sign an agreement that hands more power to rich countries and sidelines the UN's role in all future climate change negotiations. Moments before we went on the air, Lumumba Stanislaus Di-Aping, the Sudanese chair of the group of 132 developing countries known as G77, condemned the leaked document. Ref. Source 5
Indian Environmentalist Vandana Shiva: "It Is Time for the US to Stop Seeing Itself as a Donor and Recognizing Itself as a Polluter, a Polluter who Must Pay"
The world-renowned Indian environmental leader and thinker Vandana Shiva spoke before thousands at Saturday's protest in Copenhagen. On Sunday, I spoke with her at Klimaforum, the People's Climate Summit, and asked for her assessment of President Obama and what he represents in the climate change talks. Ref. Source 7
Democratic Lawmakers Defend US Stance at Copenhagen Climate Summit
Ahead of President Obama's arrival in Copenhagen, a contingent of Democratic congressional leaders flew in Thursday to express support for the administration's position at the summit meeting.
