It appears that by 2030 solar activity will have fallen by 60% to the level it was in 1645 when the last mini ice age began. If we are concerned with man made climate change, we should turn our focus to pollution instead. We have a direct and explicit impact upon the planet through pollution. If we spent all of the effort wasted attempting to frighten people out of their money so that a few people can get rich of of bad climate science, and instead spent it on curtailing pollution we would all be happier and healthier.
The risky cycle about this whole global warming thing is people using more machinery to cool themselves down thus adding to global warming. Why aren't our scientists bright enough to reverse this before we end up like Mars?

The world has cycles of warming and cooling. They happened far before we released pollutants into the air as we do now. Are we having a effect on it? Possibly a slight one. I don't agree with throwing trillions of dollars at it though for minimal effect most likely. The United States for one releases far less pollutants into the air than 40 years ago. Look at automobile emissions alone compared to then. Coal burning plants have been reduced for another. We need developing countries like China to get their pollution under control. That would make the biggest difference on this situation.
I'm amazed people are still uncertain on this topic. It's a simple search to find that there's now a 97% consensus among scientists on man-made global warming. There have been no less than seven consensus studies that all agree - these are studies of the studies!
The more ice melts, the more warming accelerates (Because ice reflects light) and these changes aren't reversible in human time scales.
The coming mini ice age will account for little more than a blip on the radar, when it comes to the projected warming.
The sea level is rising at an increasing rate. We'll no doubt still be doing studies to find the exact amount of scientific consensus when a quarter of the world's population are under water. Kiribati have already purchased land in Fiji for when they lose their country. Edited: Milesprower on 21st Dec, 2016 - 1:14am
Atmospheric escape: 'Earth will no longer be able to support life'
EARTH is slowly turning into a barren red world just like Mars and it spells doom for every living being on the planet. Ref. Source 6s

That massive iceberg that is supposed to crack off of Antarctica is something that should be concerning for everyone. This could be a major step towards us becoming a red planet.

I doubt that we will become like the red planet any time soon. The earth has gone through warming and cooling cycles so this is not a big deal in my opinion. I think it is going to warm up like it has before and then after a while start cooling off again to bring in the next ice age. Will we be here for the next ice age? Only time will tell.
