Drug addict shot dead in gang crossfire

A man police identified as a drug addict was killed during a shoot-out between members of two rival gangs yesterday on Nelson Street, Port of Spain.

Police said, up to press time last night, the victim had not been identified.

According to Homicide Bureau officers, around 1.30 p.m., the victim had been sitting between two rows of apartments, 66 and 68, when two men who were shooting at each other ran close to where the man was sitting.
