Crime Rising Thousandfold

According to the Port of Spain Mayor the withdrawal of mobile police posts from within the East Dry River area has led to an escalation in criminal activities. What do you think of such statement?

I keep saying the problem isn't the lack of police presence but the lack of proper equipment and training. I believe policemen/women should at least possess a college degree.
