The media still thinks that the protests in Egypt are simply freedom loving Egyptians seeking self determination, and Mubarak supporters starting violence to quell them. That's as deep as the media will go - but does anyone really believe thousands of years of turmoil in the Middle East can be boiled down to just that? Recent polls from Egypt reveal that the radical Muslim Brotherhood has a 75% approval rating, 62% want laws to 'strictly' follow the Koran, 54% want to annul the Israeli peace agreement, only 36% think it's important to allow Christians to freely 'practice' their religion in Egypt. Three American college students arrested Monday on suspicion of throwing Molotov cocktails during a protest in Cairo were released Thursday, Adil Saeed, the official spokesman of general prosecutor, said.
