Officers of the St Joseph CID yesterday shot and killed one of two men during an exchange of gunfire, after the officers responded to a report of a break-in at a house at River View Gardens, Maracas, St Joseph.
The dead man was identified as Geraldo George, 19, of Centre Street, La Seiva, Maracas, St Joseph. He died while undergoing surgery at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope.
