My father has Dell and it works fine, but it has low memory though which is a problem. I don't think Dell's are that high quality either because many of my friend's laptops broke and they had a Dell. I think Dell's are great for college students on a low budget.

Dell to buy data storage firm EMC for $67 billion, largest tech deal ever

Shareholders of EMC will receive about $33.15 per share, which includes cash plus tracking stock linked to part of EMC's economic interest in the VMware business, EMC announced. VMware will remain a publicly-traded company.The deal is a major coup for Michael Dell, who two years ago took the computer maker he founded private with private equity firm Silver Lake in a $25 billion buyout.
