Sean Price
A MAN described as a "long time," gangster/drug dealer and was "well known" to the police was gunned down on Saturday night as he sat in his car which was parked along Old St Joseph Road, Laventille.
Sean Price, 42, was a foreman with the Unemployment Relief Programme (URP) and lived in Belmont. The police said they did not yet have a solid lead or a motive behind his killing.
According to a Belmont resident who did not want to be identified, Price "was in the gang business years now," and was an associate of Laventille gangster Aldwyn King who was killed by police in a shootout in 1993.
Police said shortly before midnight, Price was seated in his car which was parked in front of an apartment building when a gunman walked up to him and opened fire.
