Ontario's Liberal government is trying to head off growing opposition to the use of wind farms to create energy by putting a moratorium on all off-shore projects.

I am still undecided on wind farms. Out in the water they are less disruptive even if ugly. They can disrupt farms especially dairy cattle they are moody little fellas. Some are claiming health issues from head aches to more serious ailments. I do not believe anything concrete has been proven. Nor do I think it ever will after all if they admit it is a health risk who is going to pay for all the lawsuits.
