(Interesting ... we were all so gung ho to start the game, and now everyone is having a hard time getting here (including me sometimes!)? hmm. anyway....)
Well, my next character will have a lot more brain power, that's for sure...What good is a clue if you can't figure it out? (not that I want this characte to die, or anything... I have way too much GP invested here!!)
...
So it seems two openings dead end shortly, and the one closest to the wall (away from the water) is an actual tunnel or corridor.
I'd suggest at least investigating each one (even the stinky one) that dead ends, just to see if there is anything of note inside. Light it up! Hold that torch high! And keep those swords and daggers drawn... there's something alive in the center opening (your dragon, Heric?? or maybe bats?).
Once we've searched those little... what, cubicles?...then we could start down the tunnel (since we've really no other place to go at this point...)
Have we actually looked at the water itself? Can we see anything under the water? We stirred up dirt on our way through it, but have we actually gone to the edge to look? I'd like to investigate the entire "shoreline" of the water...what do you all think? Is it just a waste of time and torch?

Reina looks at the group, "We should investigate the two smaller rooms first then the corridor. I think this one that smells like piss is where these bad guys had probably used the bathroom." Turns up her nose at the smell. "I agree with Kettle we should investigate this water more closely like what's in it? Can we see down into it and people less do it fast this torch only has a little less than 2 hours and I don't want to try and defend myself in the dark!"
==============================================
I stated everything that iwas thinking about.
Hey you forgot to give me the torch
I wasn't home on this weekend, too bad I couldn't warn you in advance. Now La Reina should give me the torch so we can see what's in that room. I'll work in the Party Order very soon.
We'll have to light another torch soon, if we want to venture in the dark corridors.
Maybe someone who doesn't have leather boots could get those old boots we found (and shake it upside down to see if there is any spider or other animal inside it before putting on)
Other than that, we could inspect those rags to see if there's anything under them, and then proceed to the next door.
Let's try not to step on that sticky substance on the floor.
I'll wait for your replies before I post the Party Order.
Well I do'nt think this guy has been dead for long,I think his decomposition was helped along, which leads me to the following, that sicky substance is probably an acid or a 'slime' that is capable of killing us,so be careful around it.If you are going to stay in this room any longer check the cieling real good, those things like to wait in hiding and then drop on unsuspecting prey.
So Heric would like to stay out of the room,to keep watch, and also watch the inside of the room and party.
I vote that we move on and not disturb anything in the room.

Sorry for that last post in party order that I made, the one that forgot to give you the torch.I know it was minor, but if we are going to make it,I need to pay more attention to detail.
----------------------------//------------------------------//----------------------
Anyway I will check back a little later to see whats up.
My edit is gone,so I must post again,oh well....
Farseer,I'm still gung ho.I think we all are,It is hard to commit yourself everyday(with life being busy like it sometimes can get).I myself am planning on moving by the end of the month,so there will be a couple of days for transition, perhaps not,but who knows,so just to give an example on life being busy.
At least one post per day is needed by everyone,so that the leader can make a decision,as long as we do that we should'nt have any probs.
And if a post cannot be made by an individual, then we should assume they are along for the ride(I'm comfortable with that, even if my char.dies)(besides we get to try again on another adventure if we croak right?)
