Mariah asks to the driver 'Is the hotel a 5 stars hotel?. I didn't have a great trip and I really would be very annoyed if the hotel we are going to is not up to my standards. My friends and I really look forward having a good time in this trip and I don't want anything that may ruin it".

Trixie is please to hear Mariah refer to her and Rozalyn as her friends. Maybe the befriending thing really is the way to go with this. Trixie says to Mariah, "Hey, Mariah, don't worry about the hotel. We are going to have fun no matter what the hotel is like. You stick with me, and I will show you how to make your own fun. Let's just make up our minds to make this the best weekend we can, agreed? How about you Rozalyn, you ready to make some fun?"

The old man says.

"Lady, I wouldn't know what a five star hotel was if it slapped me in the face!"

He then turns and smiles briliantly to show his teeth and one silver tooth.

"Of course I'm ready for fun!" giggles Rozalynn. "Ever since the day they handed me the tickets, my goodness." She truly hopes her two companions can become friends.

Hearing the driver say he doesn't know what a five-star hotel is, Rozalynn has a sense of foreboding. She really tries to remain positive, but she gets a little shiver and wonders....

Mariah cannot believe what the driver have said, she hopes they don't end up in a little room full of roaches and rats, that would be disgusting.

She turns to Trixie and says 'Yes, I hope we have a good time but at least I expect a clean place to rest, after all, we are going to spend more time outside than inside the hotel', she tries to look positive.

She then turns to Roz and says 'Don't worry, if for some reason the hotel is really bad, I can make a few calls and get us in a real nice place'.

"Mariah, even I am not going to stay in a place with roaches and rats! I can't imagine that is what we will find." *smiles widely* "It might not be 5 star, but I certainly believe it will at least be clean.. If not, I will take you up on the offer to find us someplace else to stay, but I will need to see how much it costs first. I don't make tons of money in the Marine Corps."

"Ewww! I wasn't thinking about vermin, I just have kind of an odd feeling about this guy not knowing a 5-star hotel... Doesn't that seem odd?? I wonder what is going to happen with this trip. I sure hope our hotel is at least clean, if it can not be opulent." Roz sighs, and thinks this is the longest ride... wonder when we'll get to the hotel?

You arrive at the hotel wghich looks like one gigantic lodge home, but inside is decorated wuite well... a home away from home you think...

You are escorted to your rooms. Each one is right next to the other. You take some hours to settle in, get a nap, and then meet later for dinner.

At the dinner table you are presented with a list of activities that can be done tomorrow and you are asked to select one of them:

1. Skiing on Bunny Hill
2. Investigate the Lodge's missing person's report
3. Jump in Bear Lake in your bath suit
4. Hike up Mt. Everest Jr.
