The conditions in the jails and prisons and detention centers are more than appalling, and it really is a human rights violation to have people in those conditions. I believe right now they have 58 [centimeters] per inmate, and they can't even sit down or lie down. They have to stand up like sardines in those cells, and they have to take turns in order for them to sit. Ref. Source 1
