Comments: Starcraft is still classic. Some buds and I still play it on a private network with older systems and that's one of the main reasons why - it doesn't require much resources and runs fast.

Starcraft 1 is a remarkable game created by Blizzard. While the game has lost is populations over the years its biggest market is in South Korea. As many know South Korea has a huge market for games and gamers in general. Starcraft 1 and Stacraft 1 Expansion Pack: Brood War were very unique in South Korea and around the world as a well made sci-fy based strategy game. It eventually reached star power when it began its own television show, where professional players played.

Starcraft 1 is based on three races that fight for world power or better said for dominance. Each race has its unique skills that can over power the other two races units in combat with tactics and strategy game play. Overall the game is a legend in my book. I've played Starcraft 1 and its expansion since I was first introduced to it in 2002.
I still enjoy it form time to time but since the release of Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty, I mostly stick to the new game game.

I think they refer to it as classic Starcraft now. When it first came out it was the boss of games because it revolutionized player networks.

Yes I agree, Starcraft 1 or Starcraft Classic is still the same thing. I also want to add that the game is based on real-time, meaning that what you do in one minute can affect the outcome of the next, so a strategy on building, scouting, grouping and countering with your units is very crucial every minute of the game.

The original Starcraft was totally cool but I usually like to play it with the Brood War extension cause you get the heroes as well. Either way it was the coolest game for a long time. Blizzard just rocks with their games.

I love this game and I am surprised Blizzard created it. Today I finished the Zerg, the first time I was so used to the Terran civilization, but now I am used to the Zerg. I am playing the Protoss right now.
