What do you see as the main pros and cons of playing Terrans in Starcraft?

The Terrans are probably the weakest link in the Starcraft chain. If you want really good abilities you need to either go with the Zerg or Protoss

I find the Terrans are little bit "slow", but I did like the Terran's ability to use a nuclear silo which is widely effective against Zerg and Protoss units.
