This is something I always wondered, since I ain't a convent girl I wanted to get some feedback. Why is it that girls that go to convent put on an accent and why is it that local whites put on an accent when they speak too? rolleyes.gif

I don't believe there is such a thing as convent accent or local whites speaking any differently than the rest of the population. I live in Westmoorings where lots of local whites live and I never hear any accent. It's just a myth.
