Drag Queens Arrested

POLICE have arrested ten women and five drag queens during a crackdown on a prostitution ring in Woodbrook on Friday night.

The suspects, police said, were later taken to the Woodbrook Police Station, where they were charged with loitering and are expected to appear before a Port of Spain magistrate.

Officers of the Port of Spain CID and the Port of Spain Division, led by ASP Arjith Persad, including Sgts Gookool, John and Cpl Spence, conducted several exercises in Woodbrook, where they held the suspects.

The five male suspects, police said, were all dressed as females and could not give a proper account for themselves in the area.
