No drugs necessary for me. I am normally bi-polar and go from a normal state to a manic high. In order to return to a normal state I must burn energy such as a long walk. I used to smoke and drink a lot of cafinated tea. I gave that up years ago. Over time I never get as high a state as in 1981 when I reach hallucinatory states often.
I never took medicine for my condition and so I suffered through the vissionary and hallucinatory states. I studied the hallucinations.
I was able to bring another person outside of myself and discuss the universe. I though the other person had special knowledge. Sometimes I think I just inherited something from our evolutionary past.
In the end I may have just been fooled by another compartment within my brain which I have used many times to answer various scientific questions and helpful things. It may just be a higher part of my mind. It is hard to tell.
