What is your opinion on the appointment of Hubert Volney as Minister of Justice?

According to TV6 News Minister Volney voluntarily was admitted to hospital and is now scheduled for surgery.

Minister Hubert Volney certainly speaks his mind to the point that he appears to be in opposition to the government and the way things are going. Most recently he's been attacking 21st century policing saying that the results are too slow.

You know what I like about Hubert Volney... Is unlike most of the government he actually says the things the people are complaining about!

Perhaps but it almost makes you wonder if he isn't an independent in the PP's government because he does stand by what he says.

Well he stand by what he says and then has to end up apologizing sometimes because he spoke out of turn. Maybe he's too used to being a judge and giving his opinion on things.

Oh yes! Volney lose his job over his mistake but its good at least Ministers will know their job is not a throne. That section 34 was real bacchanal.

I just listened to the PM. They needed to remove Hubert Volney because he was the one that brought forward this whole section 34 fiasco but at the same time I feel like he is taking on the whole blame on his way out and nothing is being mentioned about the Attorney General not picking up on Volney's error, how come he isn't being held accountable since he was largely the voice behind it in Parliament?
