
Any time you enter into a armed conflict it is the citizens who suffer. I would not be surprised to see more of this. I also would not be surprised that we later find out that the libyan army killing some civilians and placing the blame on the air strikes from UN countries.

AP - U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Sunday that the U.S. Expects to turn control of the Libya military mission over to a coalition - probably headed either by the French and British or by NATO - "in a matter of days."
Media cheerleads Obama's war for oil
After spending the last 8 years crying about wars for oil and how war is not the answer, the press seems completely OK with war this time around. Obama sought no approval from Congress, didn't even consult with key members of his own party before launching the attack, and has laid out no clear strategy or mission goals - despite all of this there is no outcry. What cease fire has he adhered to? I think the only cease fire that the Libyan army has adhered to is when they are eating, sleeping or reloading.
