Juan Carrera

Carrera, a Community-based Environmental Protection and Enhancement Programme (CEPEP) foreman, was liming with friends at La Luna Bar, along the Eastern Main Road, Arouca, when a man walked up to him and opened fire before escaping.

Carrera, who police said was shot in the face and lower body, slumped to the ground and died at the scene.
