It was good to see Ireland make some progress in the World Cup. I would actually like to see an underdog make it to the final eight. Anyone have thoughts on Ireland?
Yikes - I just saw Ireland play Australia who won by 9 wickets. The whole game was over in three hours. They really took a beating and made them look like 'little boys' - too bad.
Ireland went under to Sri Lanka miserably today, but they kept their chins high and are definitely more noted now for their efforts than before. I understand their current coach is also retiring.
