EverQuest Online Adventures - Page 2

My husband theatened to shoot me if I ever play this game. He refers to it as "EverCrack" because it's just that addicting. Given the way I was with all the WarCraft, StarCraft and Sims games, I sure don't need another electronic monkey on my back.

I'm amazed by the number of people that choose EverQuest online as a means to develop, build and in some cases become intimately involved with other gamers. There is a movie called, "Second Skin" see here: Source 6 that you should look at about those who played and became addicted to it like a drug.

I've read that Everquest and WOW are the top games for addiction. Maybe I'm wired different but I see these games as games and not as a whole new life. Maybe some people just look for something they're missing in their own lives.
