Shelly Dass

Shelly Dass was formerly a radio announcer, who changed jobs to become news presenter for TV6. She has recently left this television station to join CNC3. What are your views on this lady?

Her nasal voice is quite annoying (sorry). Other than that, she does an average job as a presenter.

I wholeheartedly agree. But bear in mind, she was formerly a radio presenter and I suspect that she had no formal training. Take Carla Foderingham for instance. Have you ever listened to her voice? Very pleasant and soft spoken. She was trained by the best: Mr Dominic Kalipersad!

Comments: On September 6, 2008, Shelly Dass wed Robert Clarke, a producer and reporter at Gayelle TV, in a million dollar beachfront ceremony at a private family owned resort in Tobago. Clarke is the great great grandson of Captain Authur Andrew Cipriani, former Trinidad & Tobago politician, mayor, and trade union leader. Clarke, an award winning journalist and writer, met Dass during a cabinet press conference in Port of Spain.
