If you were to divide your face into two parts you will see that each side is slightly different. One eye might be slightly higher or a lip might twist up or down as compared to the other side. the point of this thread is this: Do you feel you have a better side that you tend to show off to people or the camera?
That's tough. I can tell the difference between the sides of my face, but there are features about both that I like. As far as cameras go, I try to avoid them at all costs.
On the left side of my face, the one I tend to try to hide, I have a lazy eye. So, there's no telling where it's going to be facing. So my right side has the normal eye.
But, I have a tendency of doing this little half smile thing on the left side of my mouth. Because of that I have this little dimple that's developed, and I love it!
Ambria,
I also have lazy eye, but my parents tried to have it fixed when I was six and the job was botched, so the one eye is always pointing off at a slight angle. I wear glasses, with a high refractive index (thinner plastic but sharply angled) because I'm almost blind without them. With the glasses on, it isn't very noticeable. Most people don't look at others very intently. Too rude! We look at ourselves and family far more carefully than most people, even friends will look at us.
I used to only show my right side whenever possible, but I have grown up since then. Now, I just look at the camera and smile. I am more worried about my hair and clothes than my profile.
I also have a lazy eye and have worn glasses since I was two years old.
