Usually you can tell a lot about someone's personal judgement based on how they react to certain people... for instance, let us say you are sitting in a lobby of a resturant and what seems to be an important person surrounded by bodyguards walks in. You do not know who it is until someone sitting next to you whispers in a voice of excitement, "It is John Doe, one of the top paid hit men of the mob! He makes millions a year!"
What is your reaction to this statement? Do you feel admiration for the guy, are you impressed, do you feel scared, what is your reaction and why do you think you will react that way?
Well, in the scenario above, I would be appalled. I wouldn't think good things about a paid killer. I don't care how wealthy he was. I wouldn't be afraid, either. There isn't any reason why I would be the target.
I might be impressed with other wealthy or famous people. I would probably be awed in the presence of the Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney. However, not all governors have that ability to awe me. It depends upon the person. I would not be honored to be in the presence of Bill Clinton, for example. I think I would be as appalled as I would be over the hit man.

I would feel disgust - the idea of a bully making millions.
I do agree that you can tell people by their judgement of others though. Some people judge by appearance, some by intellect, some by wealth, and some by waiting until they know the person. I am awful at assuming I know someone right away, and then realizing that they are completely different.
First off, I would not feel envy or awe for anybody who needed constant protection from bodyguards. I might feel pity. As a poor college student, I have more freedom of choice and spontaneity than most millionaires. I would like to keep it that way.
Upon finding out he was a hit man, I would get a good look at his face so I could recognize him in the papers, then I would enjoy my lunch. It is not worth getting angry about somebody the law has not yet been able to touch. I cannot change the situation. I will be happy and let God deal with the crook, confident that I am more content and secure without money or bodyguards than that poor fellow.
I can't say I don't naturally pay attention to some rich people, but my feeling is more one of wondering what principles they followed to obtain their wealth, and how I could apply those principles without compromising my beliefs. I would never be natural in the social circles of the wealthy. I would not be happy if I was rich just because somebody felt sorry for me and gave me a ton of money. Thus, I don't try to befriend the rich because I expect something in return, but I sometimes observe the rich for insight as to how I can reach my financial goals, i.e. feed my family.
I agree with a lot of what has been said, but I do have some different feelings as well. First of all, it would be difficult for me to analyze whether or not a person is telling me the truth by one comment. If I knew nothing else about the person making the comment, I would probably try to ascertain, through my own perceptions, if there could be any truth to what was said (in this particular instance, anyway). I would look at how the man behaved and listen to any comments he may state loudly enough for me to hear (because I personally feel that it has been proven to me that I can't tell all that much about a person by the way that they look, with some exceptions). Again, it would be very hard to tell, but I would rely on my instincts and spiritual feelings, if there were any. If I determined that there was a possibility of this being true, I would be afraid. I am afraid of dangerous people, and in this case my fear stems from being near someone who could be a hit man, someone who kills. Even if I weren't a target, situations could come up that could lead to a violent episode with this man, and I don't want to be anywhere near that or subject myself to any possibility of being injured. Either way, I wouldn't want to be seated near him, with his 'entourage' and all. I certainly wouldn't be impressed or want to look on him as any kind of a celebrity. I would also probably feel sick to my stomach, as certain emotions do that to me. As to what anyone could tell about my personal judgements based on how I react to certain people, I really don't know, but would be curious to find out. As talked about in the movie 'Shrek', I only learn about people one layer at a time. Even if I know a person really well, I can only make observations about what I see, ascertain what I perceive to be their thoughts and/or motivation, hypothesize what that person is about, and if possible, get clarification through communication. I really do not want to make judgements that are likely to be incorrect about them as a person, even though I have at times.
