Why do you think Burgers is not as liked in Trinidad and Tobago as Chicken & Chips?

I would not say that people do not like hamburgers. Have you ever seen the long lines at Burger King?

I suspect that certain religions here in Trinidad, frown upon eating beef. For instance, the Hindus here believe that the cow is sacred and therefore, they would not touch beef. I suppose one could argue that Trinis are so accustomed to using chicken as part of their main course and there are so many ways to prepare chicken: for instance, Barbecue, curry, Chinese food, Syrian food (chicken kebabs) and Indian food. I guess eating chicken here in Trinidad can be equated to breathing: Trinis just cannot live without their chicken!

Comments: Too funny. I can also say that the quality of beef that is in Trinidad is not very good, that is a good reason to turn to chicken until you pass by a chicken factory or chicken transport pickup and then you wonder how you could be eating that stuff.
