I believe that the Best Trini recipe book is the Naparima Girls' High School Cookbook. The actual name of the book is The Multi-cultural Cuisine of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean. I always enjoy trying recipes from this particular cookbook because the explanation on how to prepare the dish is very simple and the ingredients are very easy to find in a supermarket. I would highly recommend this book to foreigners who visit our shores or for those who are learning to cook for the first time.
