Josh tells Greg that he got some water in his things to which Greg says,
"You know you could do all that in the kitchen downstairs."
You can see Josh seems visibly frustrated that you want to see to food preparation in the base's control room.
Meanwhile...
The rest of you thoroughly search the room and find nothing of significant interest save for a small digital log used to keep random notes. As you look through the log most of the data space has been unused with some frivolous entries that seem to mention tasks that need to be done on the base. The last entry, made about four days ago is strange and you wonder about its meaning. It reads,
"Concerned about containment of experiment, it seems volatile. Must get counter measures prepared."

You leave the room and go opposite to the West room. In like manner you listen, use your detector and open the door with guns aimed for any surprise attack but there is nothing eventful. In this room the furniture is the same as the last but with more beds and more things all over the floor. The only thing of significant interest is the amount auto syringe cylinders** you see. You have not examined any yet but someone with the biology skill might be able to ascertain what it was used for. Also strewn on the floor are clothes, shoes, a warm fur coat some empty food containers and personal effects for grooming, etc.
** These are used to inject chemical compounds in the body. They are mostly used by medical personnel.

Josh makes excuses so as to not leave the presence of Greg. He then uses his hand computer but finds it unusual that he has no access to any network and there is nothing within its internal database about the current arctic base.
Meanwhile...
Uhura's detector scans the residue of the auto syringes and finds the chemical component to be unknown but lists it as an anti-agent of some sort.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
You leave the East room and head to the North room. Upon opening the door you become amazed to see the awful mess of food and blood plastered across the kitchen. It looks like there was some kind of fight here and were it not for your environment suits you probably would have been hit with a horrific stench. You stand by the door wondering if you really want to search through this mess.
Meanwhile...
Josh offers some tea to Greg which he refuses saying that he is fine. Upon asking him about the lack of access to the network he says,
"Oh yeah... That, well because of our polar location its difficult to pick up a signal, don't worry about it."
Greg then continues what he was doing.

Josh inquires of Greg about getting an environ suit for himself to which Greg replies,
"There may be an extra one on the second floor storage area, why don't you go take a look..."
Meanwhile...
You search the disgusting kitchen but come up with nothing significant. The fridge and cupboards are still well stocked with food. There are some heavy knives (6) in the drawers - if you want to keep them as blade weapons.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Josh wants to ask the team below if it is safe to come down. Greg says the base's communications interface seems to be offline but the environ suits have built in communicators and if you tell him the message he can relay it for you. You agree and you hear Greg ask the question.
GM: The team will need to respond to this.
Meanwhile...
The rest of you begin your descent into the next floor. The most apparent thing is there is no light! Your environ suits do have some lighting but it pales in comparison to the total darkness below.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Josh attempts to examine a nearby computer console but the only one there is currently occupied by Greg whom seems perturbed that you are 'sniffing' around his space and by now he makes it known by his facial expressions.
At that moment...
Major asks Greg about the lights on the next level down to which Greg says,
"They're supposed to be functional unless someone took them out... I really don't know."
Then...
Uhura signals that Greg can hear you through your environ suits. She then replies to Greg that it is not a good time for Josh to come down to which Greg replies,
"I think its safe, oxygen levels at the base are normal and the temerature is at room level... Should I send him down?"
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
You head back up the Artic base's central control room. Greg is surprised to see you and quickly says,
"Found something?"
You inquire about a light source and getting an environ suit for Josh. He locks the console he was working on and then says,
"I may have that in the ATV, just give me a sec."
Greg opens the main doors and a gush of cold wind comes in that only Josh can feel at the moment. Greg then disappears into the white of the arctic. You go over to the main doors and see as he enters the ATV which is parked about 100 feet away.
