Out of character: Maybe better if Uhura checks the message and Nathan helps the other guys. She is more qualified to get clues from the images. Hearing the speech is enough for my character since he knows very little about chemistry or biology.

"We need to get downstairs, there is no way around it, at least we have an idea what we're going to be tackling."
Specific Action: Use the beam and make for the lower level with gun in other hand.
