Artic Rescue Brainstorm RPGs PBP Fiction Science

In Character: Major looks at Nathan's face, "What's the [insert expletive here] matter, you look like you've seen a ghost?"

Out of Character: Well, we are in more doo-doo but this all depends on what kind of people are coming our way. We're still injured right? So at least they might treat us and it might just give some belief to our story.

Specific Action: Go up to the main floor and await the rescuers.

"Somebody is playing dirty, here", says Nathan with a frown, "Now, please make an effort to remember. I ask you once again: who hired you guys for this mission? The answer could be of great importance now".

Out of Character: That son of many unidentified animals! Looks like we still have time for an action. My idea is: I can check the radar and track the Atv, or I can browse for informations on who hired you (if is a company, for instance, we can know if it really exists and if it has connections with this place). I lost my memory so I'm useless for this task. Yup, I can read the beginning of the adventure but, hey, my character was not there...

Brainstorm Rescue Artic

Out of Character: Now we know what Greg was up to at the computer.

In Character: Uhura puts away the samples. She then goes over to Nathan to find out what he has accomplished. When she learns of the lack of video on their arrival she becomes worried.

"No sense panicking now, we have our story, we may has well go upstairs, but wait, we also have the video diary!"

Specific Action: Ask Nathan to see if the video diary has more about the experiments they were doing.

Artic Rescue Brainstorm

In Character: "I just copied all the recent entries on my computer", explains Nathan to Uhura, "But we have nothing that can prove we didn't kill all these people here". He's sweating despite the mild temperature of the base's lower level. "Those men, or creatures, you neutralized down here are almost totally burnt by the flares. I doubt anybody will believe they were actually some sort of mindless zombies or vampires. We need something. Anything. And we need it before the army arrives".

Out of Character: I don't think we should just go upstairs and wait. We have time for an action and this time is really the last one. In my opinion: we track Greg or we find your contractors. Any other ideas?

In Character: Thomas says to Uhura and Nathan, "I will go upstairs to see if the rescuers are nearby now." Thomas is now on his way on going upstairs.

Specific Action: Go upstairs to see if the rescuers are nearby the Arctic base.

In Character: Before Major heads up the stairs he says,

"All I can tell you is they didn't want the authorities involved so this probably an under the radar operation. We were too darned greedy over the credits they were offering us that we didn't do background checks. Yeah I know foolish, that's why I'm just a hired gun and not a scientist."

Major adds the little end with a grin for Nathan as he climbs the ladder.

Out of Character: What can I say, I'm lost, its like we're in a coffin waiting for someone to open the casket.
