One man was shot and killed and another seriously injured during a shooting incident in Arima on Carnival Monday.
The dead man has been identified as Commie Perez, 18, of Cocorite Road, Arima, while the other injured man is Ewart Delandro, of Bregon Park D'Abadie.
Police said the shooting took place around 11 p.m. Near the Arima Town Hall along Sorzano Street, Arima, a short distance from the corner of Pro Queen Street and where music was being played from several boxes outside the Living Room Nightclub.

Case Murder Perez Commie
I read that the relatives of this young man are saying he was shot by the police. According to eyewitnesses the police started shooting to a group of people who were having a dispute. If this is true then I'm hoping for a full investigation.
