Ferrari Station Wagon

Ferrari makes a station wagon

What's the world coming to? When I told a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti-owner the other day that the Maranello concern had created its first four-wheel-drive station wagon, she said it was sacrilege. Mind you, once she sees, she may change her opinion. Source 7

Really don't see a stationwagon here. It looks far more like a hatchback and hatchbacks can be cool. Sort of reminds me of a slightly extended Mustang Mach II.

They want to maintain that sports look. Really though if you are going to spend that much money on a Ferrari will you really be thinking about making it a family car? How can you really breeze if your family is there?

There is hardly even any room for passengers in this thing. The driver sits just in front of the rear wheel. I am not even sure if you could get a 2x4 into this thing without having it hanging out a window or out the back of the car. Looked at it again today and still seems like a hatchback to me.

The appeal here is the four wheel drive not really that its supposed to be a station wagon. It can handle rough terrain better than the sports version. It does look nicer than a regular 4x4 so hats off for that but it wouldn't be my first pick even if I could afford it.
