Oliron scours the place for anything unusual but finds nothing other than what he can see.
Lady Godiva continues to look at the odd liquid but can make nothing of it.
As Jonathon looks around you can hear movement from the East door and then suddenly Lady Godiva sees robed figures head towards the South exit. This surprises her and she hardly has time to put down the flask and pick up her bow.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Lady Godiva with amazing reflexes shoots her arrows just as the robed persons escape South. The sound of a man in agony can be heard as you see them disappear behind the door, it is likely you hit one of them but how badly you do not know.
At that same moment Neihao peeks inside the room West but it is too dark inside to see what is there without a light source.
GM: East has no door. I do not understand this: "Jonathon will take the books Boots". He will just take the boots I guess? Say what you wish to do now.
Lady Godiva follows the men through the South door, she can just catch them heading up the stairs to a door, now open, that leads to the inside of the Inn's tavern. Blood follows their trail.
Meanwhile... You both look into the respective rooms but are astonished to find them completely empty.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Lady Godiva searches for an exit by going up the stairs where the robbed figures exited and is immediately confronted by many men resembling bandits with angry faces. They immediately unsheathed their swords and come towards you.
Meanwhile...
Neihao goes up to the trap door that leads to the kitchen... he can both hear and after peeking can see people busy about searching the top first floor of the tavern. They are obviously looking for you.
GM: Say what you wish to do now being detailed about your next actions.
Jonathon stands at the door and starts trying to give an explanation that confuses the drunk men for a second but after a woman says, "That be him!" suddenly Jonathon is thrown backwards unconscious down the stairs and on to the floor below. Men start to pour into the room.
GM: Jonathon is temporarily out of the game and someone else should post Party Order.
Just then...
Lady Godiva opens the door West and enters a kitchen area that is fortunately unoccupied at the moment. There is both a door and window to the outside but she can see a few men moving about the surroundings of the Inn in a disorganized way, they look like typical East City dwellers that probably are attached to the Inn in some way.
At the same time...
Neihao enters the kitchen upstairs just as he hears the men that were upstairs rushing downstairs after the wench cries out 'That be him!". He then removes his disguise quickly.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Strangely, as Neihao watches the men go down the stairs he shouts out to them a diversion by pointing to the trap door thus calling them back upstairs to where he is located. This causes the men to stop and be a bit confused as to the direction they should take. Some turn around and come back upstairs watching Neihao curiously.
GM: A D20 against Neihao's soul.
Meanwhile...
Lady Godiva decides to exit the kitchen fighting any that would try to stop her. When she comes out of the kitchen the men watch her in the robes and are not sure what to make of it.
GM: A D20 against lady Godiva's soul.
Lady Godiva tries to get passed the men but they stand in front of her indicating that they know about her disguise.
Meanwhile...
Neihao's poor acting skills shows him to be more nervous than drunk as they start to gather around him rather than pursue his diversion.
GM: I need combat rolls from both of you.
Neihao is cornered into combat. The four men he faces seem to be a mixture of East City stock and Bandits. As they approach he unleashes his dagger and stabs at the first man but misses, so too do the others likewise in a ferocious manner. Some miss and others do dirty damage opening up Neihao's flesh. In the process Neihao punctures the gut of one so badly that he falls to the ground. Such a scene would normally cause fright to anyone but these men with liquor in their veins and the fresh thoughts of how insulting it was for you entering their 'sacred' place has caused them to be more courageous than ever. They fall upon Neihao even more daringly but he pulls through as the last of the four falls to the ground. Suddenly you can hear someone shout, "One of them is upstairs!"
GM: -4 hp to Neihao
Meanwhile...
Lady Godiva makes daring attacks against the men who are not as skilled as she is with a dagger. By the time the two men are down and the third one stumbles she makes her escape into the crowd continuing to use her robes as a cover.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
