GM: Map is still the same from the last visit: East City Tavern Map.
Grouth orders his drink and then approaches the man at the door using the excuse of going to the outhouse. The man, who you can see now looks like a well fitted Bandit, does not even open his mouth, he just signals to you in disgusted fashion that you have to go around to the back. You assume he gets that question a lot or is just tired of standing there.
Meanwhile...
Cagliostro orders his drink and then carefully details the interior (See map for layout) along with Lady Godiva. The hooded person is on a stool nearest to the stairs that have been cordoned off by a tied curtain. The rest of people in the Tavern are scattered about and moving around save for the man that Grouth approached and the serving bartender who both retain their positions.
At that time...
GM: I am going to assume Play By Post is referring to the hooded person sitting alone as I did not mention the gender.
Dante tries to get a glimpse of the hooded person as he approaches the bartender and asks about a place to stay. At first he cannot see the face but the hands seem rather small and with tattooed marks around it. He asks his question to which the bartender says,
"Aren't ye the one that stays at the Inn? Is it not good enough or the services not exquisite enough?"
He chuckles and then quickly reverts back to his gloomy face awaiting your reply.
Around this time...
John keeps his eyes on the hooded person but he feels it cannot be the Dark Cleric - the frame is smaller, it must be someone else, but who?
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
GM: Though not mentioned, I will assume you are not doing your actions in robotic-like fashion but will instead alter your movement and pace so your ultimate intentions are not obvious.
The hooded figure intrigues you. You make various attempts to see the face of the person but you are none the wiser as whomever it is has made their cloak's hood work very well for them. You conclude you will literally have to approach their table and then stoop to get a good look. However, when Cagliostro goes over to examine the stairs he does notice that the hooded figure turns to look at his close proximity but still no face is revealed.
Cagliostro tries to evaluate the location in as little time as possible. He notes that the current Tavern clients are all working class and do not look like professional mercenaries, but then again neither did the cutthroats that tried to raid you in the woods. Curious by your presence around the stairs the bartender calls out,
"It's closed! Go sleep yer drunken self somewhere else!"
A few people turn their heads to see who the bartender is addressing thus they now look at Cagliostro and go back to their drinks.
Meanwhile...
The wench returns with drinks and is awaiting the payment as well as trying to figure out why it is only Lady Godiva at the table.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
GM: Please ensure you are deducting the gold you are spending: John for room and Cagliostro for drinks.
You all more or less decide to let some time go by as you do the usual things done in a tavern: drink, sit, talk and then repeat. After about an hour a few of the others leave while one one drunk passes out on a table and starts to snore louder than a lumberjack's axe.
Just then...
The hooded figure throws a gold piece on the table and then gets up, wraps the cloak more around themself and walks towards the main door still doing very well at keeping their face from being revealed, however you can tell now that the person is female, albeit a very athletic looking woman given the muscular tone about the visible parts of her body almost fully covered by her cloak. Just as she is about to exit her hood turns to your direction as though whomever it is was trying to communicate to you but nothing is said. She then leaves.
At that time...
The Tavern continues to be as it is but at a slower pace. You can see one of the wenches preparing herself to retire to her own abode.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
The rest of you sit at the table while John decides to follow the hooded person.
As John is doing this Cagliostro tries to ponder passing the curtain to go further up the stairs but without standing up to untie them or slitting it fast with a knife it will not be an easy job unless he simply lifts the curtains up in the air, but this may not be practical.
Meanwhile...
John follows the figure carefully to an alley way where there is little light and suddenly the woman he follows goes missing. John spins around looking each way frantically to see where he missed the movements of her cloak. Then as he is about to turn back in disappointment he is tripped to the ground from behind where he lands on his back, the hooded woman now on top of him with a dagger to his throat.
"Who art thou? What havest thee with me?"
As she speaks in a low tone you begin to see some of her features and can confirm her gender as that of a human woman, but who she is you do not know. She continues...
"Ye lie, ye die."
You can tell she means it.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
John pleads for his life as the hooded woman remain over him in silence. She sighs, then stands and with the dagger still in her hand she says,
"Yea are not from this City, ye wear the armor and carry the weapons of mercenaries and worst of all ye make strange movements in the Tavern. What is thy purpose? What are ye doing?"
Meanwhile...
The rest of you wait in the Tavern.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
The hooded person remains silent for awhile and then pulls back her hood revealing her true identity.
"I am Wanderer. The Elders of the Village told me that ye incompetent fools have been running in circles trying to get the Dark Cleric, and now that I am close to solving my investigations into the bastard ye show up to start up a circus, what are ye doing?"
GM: Wanderer will show up in your Camp Posts briefly ONLY in Character, but at the moment only John is in conversation with her. Say what you wish to do now.
John attempts to walk away. As he does so Wanderer simply says,
"If ye wish to live, leave the East City Tavern now and forget ye ever saw me."
John returns to the Tavern and tells the others what happened.

It is now probably around 3am. Soon most people will be getting up whereas you are tiredly keeping your seats. The party becomes unsettled with their next move. You continue your regular Tavern patron routine as you watch more of the East City folk leave.
The man that was guarding the door enters it and closes it behind him.
The Tavern keeper is finishing up his sorting of pitchers and mugs.
One wench is clearing the tables.
Other than yourselves there is one loan man with his head resting on a table still snoring.
You can tell they are about to close and you are delaying them. The streets outside are relatively quiet save for one or two passers by.
