Lady Godiva, finding nothing else of interest, returns to the party as Dante ensures that the Tavern Keeper is well tied.
Meanwhile...
John awaits for the others to gather by the trap door, Cagliostro is closely behind followed by Lady Godiva.
Around this time...
Grouth, still at the top of the stairs in the Tavern, suddenly realizes he is bleeding. It seems some splinters from the door went through the spacing of his armor. As he touches the wounded area he can now feel the pain. To remove the splinters he will need to take off his armor.
GM: -1 HP to Grouth.
John opens the trap door by pulling the handle set into it. Were it part of a trap, John would probably be missing a hand or poisoned by now. The trap door opens with ease and reveals some stairs going down again, but these stairs are set in stone. A strong scent of spice or burning herbs hits you immediately. You shine your light and it reveals a smaller room ahead with arches leading into other rooms; one directly ahead and the other to the left.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Grouth pushes the Tavern Keeper down the stairs and you can hear a crack as his neck twists to one side, he is now surely dead. When Grouth brings the Wench to the stairs she starts to scream loudly at the sight as Dante stands there offering to take her.
Meanwhile...
John can't hold it back and sneezes loudly as Cagliostro goes up further and Lady Godiva stands guard. Then suddenly, above and back from your current location you hear a loud scream from the cellar's main door.
When you think all these instant noises is paying you misfortune there is someone ahead in the arched rooms shouting,
"Up, something is happening!"
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
Lady Godiva braces herself against a wall as John puts out the lighted lantern - all goes dark but then you realize there is still a light source from one room.
Meanwhile...
Cagliostro uses the light emanating from the room above to make his way back up the stairs and into the brewery. He quickly hides behind a large barrel with bow ready.
During this time...
Dante gags the woman as Grouth pulls out his sword.
A bit later...
There is some shuffling in the room near wear Lady Godiva braces herself. A light suddenly shows out of the room and figures start moving strategically.
GM: I need combat rolls from everyone. Say what you wish to do now.
As Lady Godiva braces herself against a wall she is unaware that her presence was already known. She feels a stab from behind. She turns quickly but it is dark and she cannot make out who or what it is that inflicted the wound.
GM: Lady Godiva: -1 HP
At that same time...
John feels something pierce him but he does not know what it is that burns him.
GM: John takes -1 HP
Meanwhile...
Cagliostro feels something run up his leg! He starts to jump around as he also feels several bites around his leg. He is going crazy within himself as whatever it is shuffles around his hamstring and buttocks.
GM: Cagliostro takes -1 HP
At that same time...
As Dante starts taking the wench down the stairs she wiggles her body in such a way that both her and him falls to the ground below. Dante feels his head spin as he bangs it on the floor below.
GM: Dante -1 HP
Just before that...
Grouth stands waiting.
GM: Say what you wish to do now. A tip, try to imagine your environment so you can make the correct decisions.
The sounds that emanate just below Cagliostro's pelvic area reveals that it is a rodent, maybe even two. The unusual position of where he is being bitten makes Cagliostro fall to the ground in shock with his manhood searing in such excruciating pain that he has lost focus.
GM: Cagliostro is on 0 HP and unconscious.
Meanwhile...
John starts to fiddle with his lantern as a bright light shows from one of the rooms on to him. He yells out as he is pierced with what he now sees is a bolt possibly from a crossbow.
GM: -2 HP to John.
At that same time...
Lady Godiva darts back up the stone stairs and up the trap door only to meet Cagliostro on the ground while leaving John behind.
Just then...
In one swish Dante kills the wench and she falls right where the Tavern Keeper lays. He then decides to light a lantern as he sees Lady Godiva come up hurriedly. Grouth climbs the wooden stairs to grab one of the candles on the wall of the Tavern.
GM: Say what you wish to do now. Also, a suggestion was brought up in the World of Medieval Support Thread about using the same action system as FE so there is no dependency on a Party Leader. If there are any objections to this please state so in the same World of Medieval Support Thread.
Lady Godiva tries to understand what is wrong with Cagliostro, he has a gazed look on his face. She attempts to move him but notices that something seems to be anchoring him to the ground. She checks further only to realize that Cagliostro has landed on a protruding wooden base meant for a future barrel but now acts as a spike of death. Cagliostro is dead.
GM: Cagliostro is out of the game.
Meanwhile...
In the haste to get a light source Grouth trips over a stool and with no helm to protect his head he hits skull to table edge.
GM: Grouth takes a further -1 HP.
Around that time...
John decides to charge at the person shooting at him. As he goes closer he can see it is a man armed with a hand crossbow with no armor on. The man shoots a bolt hitting John but it is the last move he makes as John strikes him down to the ground. In like manner John sees another man and strikes him down as well in quick succession. You quickly look around the room but you believe you are now alone.
GM: John takes -1 HP.
Right after...
Dante comes down the stairs with his lantern to find John standing over two bodies. The room seems to be a primitive sleeping quarters with well used bedding and ragged sheets strewn about.
There is another room that has not been examined yet.
GM: Say what you wish to do now. Make sure to track and record your damage.
After John informs Dante of what happens Lady Godiva appears again. Grouth soon follows after and now you all are finally gathered together.
You peer into the other room. It is some kind of worship place. There is a statue of a demon seated with legs crossed to one end of the room and strange markings all over the walls. On the ground are some half used candles around the statue.
GM: Say what you wish to do now.
