Out of Character:: I was thinking to give the gold to Play. He said he wanted to be a fighter I think and we could give the gold to him. Then just say like, our characters gave the gold as a payment for hire.

Out of Character:: If my improvisations in the party leader thread are too much let me know. I'm trying to make sure we get everything in. If I leave out some minor detail like not oiling a hinge, that could mean a party wipe. So thats how I'm trying to think when I'm posting in the party leader thread.
