"No one is home"
Dante grins after saying it.
"Maybe they've run scared or they could be waiting for us. We can go in the same way we did last time and use the wagon for cover."
Out of Character: By the way, is Tanar the one driving?
Out of Character: Well, if all of you guys are riding a horse then I'm the one driving but I would prefer not since I'm kind of vulnerable, specially to arrows. By now, Tanar will just follow your decisions because he's never been here before and he is too shy to argue with you guys. At the moment, his silence is roleplay.
Out of Character: I didn't buy a horse so I will drive and you can ride inside, that should be protection enough for your character . Since there is nothing else to this really I'm going to add our actions now.
Tanar spent almost all the day sitting inside the wagon during the journey to the mountains, only occasionally peeking from the door to have a look at the surroundings. His initial excitement slowly turned into boredom as row after row of trees scrolled in front of his eyes. He felt relieved when the wagon finally halted its march and he could jump down for a few minutes. Enjoying the fresh air, he looked at the apparently endless canyon. His companions were unsure on how to procede and that made him feel a little unease. Suddenly recognizing this sensation as fear, he jumped back into the wagon, waiting for the party to resume the journey.
With full armor on Lady Godiva dismounts.
"I can go in there now" She hits her shield to show off her armor.
occ Put me down to check this out but someone will need to watch the horses although mine is a war horse so he should be trained to wait.
Specific Action: Command horse to wait and check out cave.
Dante halts the wagon. he jumps down and opens the door to the wagon and says to Taner, "Sir I hope you enjoyed your ride. Now please come look after the horses".
Dante readies himself and says to Lady Godiva, "So shall we?" he then heads into the cave.
Out of Character: Probably Felipe and Neihao can check out the other cave?
Tanar quickly got out of the black wagon: "With pleasure", he replied. "I have some experience on how to handle the beasts". Actually, his father only had two cows and some rabbits and chicken at the farm. No horses. But Tanar didn't thought it should be a big problem. Moreover, they were all sturdy and seasoned adventurers, wearing shiny armors and wielding proper weapons, while he had no real skills and was armed with a wooden stick good only for domesticating donkeys. It would not hurt if they thought he was expert in something.
Lady Godiva doesn't allow Dante to pass her and instead enters the cave first while commenting,
"Why is it that we keep getting these magicians, don't they know thieves and warriors are more useful? Hopefully he will last longer than the others besides no one died yet from watching horses."
She laughs at her own statement and then gets serious for the task ahead.
