"You can ride the horse", says Tanar to Dante while they load the body of Neihao on the wagon, "I should be able to handle this... Thing. Can't be too different from the oxen driven cart we were using in the farm".Specific Action: Load Neihao's remains on the wagon, then jump on the driver's bench ready to resume the chase.
Lady Godiva watches as the men at arms put Neihao into the wagon. She sighs and then shouts out the need for urgency in finding the cleric before it is too late. Her heels kick into the horse to let her horse know there is a need for speed and off she goes.
Specific Action: Head deeper south following the tracks she found earlier.
Out of Character: I posted the party order but I forgot to mention about Neihao's belongings. I don't mind taking the horse but what about his other stuff?
Out of character: In my opinion, we should bury everything he owns with him, including the coins. My character would really need all that wonderful gear, it could make the difference between life and death. But he would never feast on the remains of a companion nor would I.
Out of Character: Tanar's philosophy will probably make him really poor but Dante does not believe the same and I don't think the others will just bury it either but let's see what they say.
Tanar looks at his companions, trying to understand if he is the only one feeling tired and hungry after such an intense day. The tracks on the soft soil are so clear that even a neophyte like himself can follow them without any problems. He would like to stop for a moment, eat and rest a little. His bum is starting to hurt, not used to the hardness of the wagon's wooden seats. But he doesn't dare to say anything, worried that the others could consider him a whining wet kitten.Out of Character: What about a 30 minutes break before we get too close? We should then find a place to leave the wagon (too noisy) and cautiously approach them. I could join somebody on one of the horses. When we are close enough, we can choose to sneak on them or charge them. Depending on the description that JB will give us. What do you think?
Out of Character: Before we bury Neihao I agree that his stuff should be shared between us. I doubt Lady Godiva is any kind of priestess to do otherwise, she will just see it as this is how the table turns.
In Character: Lady Godiva brings her horse to a stop. She jumps down and stoops trying to make out anything from where they're at.
"If there is anyone in those woods they will see us before we even get close."
She stakes a stubble of grass and smells it trying to make out what the surrounding area might be like. She looks up at Tanar,
"Can you make out anything from up there? We should stop, eat and decide what to do next, but not here in the open, closer to the trees."
Out of Character: One of us can go ahead and check out the smoke.
Dante agrees with Lady Godiva and adds,
"We are all armored up, we need someone who is light and carry nothing to go ahead and look. Now, who amongst us fits that build?"
Dante begins to whistle while occasionally looking at Tanar and grinning.
Out of Character: I think before we break out and eat let's recon the area, especially that smoke. We don't want to be like eating our snack pack and get arrows through our happy meal.
