Out of Character: I didn't know that John already have a saddle for his horse already.
In Character: John doesn't say anything to the undertaker, he just waits for the funeral to start.
Specific Action: Wait for the funeral to start.
In Character: Dante feels odd with the whole funeral thing. He didn't like seeing those that battled with him before, he felt as though it should be him there in place of them. He shakes his head negatively wanting nothing more to do with it and also mounts his horse waiting for the others.
Out of Character: What's you next move guys?
Out of Character: I didn't get any feedback about this so, if nobody corrects these instructions, this is what I'll post in a few hours to answer JB's request. The party hides the wagon in the woods, south of the Village. We will travel on the road. Dante and John in front, Cagliostro in the middle, Lady Godiva and Aose behind. The party will look right away for the man mentioned by Horde.
Out of Character: Why do we want to travel on the road? I thought part of the idea of getting rid of the wagon was to go via the forests so no one knows we're on our way.
In Character: Dante looks on wondering how long it will take to get to the city. He watches the sun and tries to calculate whether they will have to camp soon, then again that is a good idea... Go to the city under the cover of darkness! He immediately suggests it to the others to find out what they think about it.
Out of Character:: We are currently at the funeral as a group correct? I recommend that after the funeral we leave we can travel 2 by 2 so we are not as spread out on horseback.
In Character:: Aose waits till the funeral is over and tells the group, "I recommend that we travel off the main road since we are not encumbered by the wagon. We can shadow the road through the East Forest. This will give us some protection and allow us to surprise any traps layed on the way."
I have a odd question do we know why the Dark Cleric has traveled south through hte Death's Mouth? He shouldn't be heading to Hordeland there was a faster route directly south of East City. I have no clue what is in Wastelands but it is interesting that he woudl be leaving the boarders of Greystalk if this is where is power base is."
"Another question is, if he is such a danger to the Village why have the Elders not asked Greystalk to send help?" Aose stops as if his head is racing. Then looks at the group, "You ever feel like your hunting deer with a pig sticker, well I do right now. There are so many questions that I did not ask earlier."
DA: Prepare to leave with whichever action the group picks.
Out of Character: For the questions you asked, sgtlee, I don't have an answer. Maybe the others can help since they have been here longer.
Ok. So you guys want to travel off the road (if you answered my question when I asked it, we would save one whole day...). In my opinion, the main risk about that choice is that riding a horse in a forest can range from "Tricky" to "Nearly impossible" depending on how thick is the vegetation. Our travel will last longer this way making no difference between going on horse or by foot.
Leaving the wagon behind will already make us no different from any other traveler along the road. As for arriving to the city unseen, we will have to get inside by one of the main gates and ask for informations and go find that tavern as well so I don't see how we will be able to hide our presence anyway.
Last but not least, if I remember well what I read about your past visit to East City, the forests around it are plagued by wolves. But a vote is a vote.
Posting our actions now.
