Camp - The Dark Cleric - Page 224

Thus saith AngloSaxon Noblewoman...

In Character: Lady Godiva looks at Aose, "Good questions but you're asking the wrong person. You should of asked that back when we met with the elders. All I can tell you is we're the hired hands for the job and I'll be damned that I don't finish it this time or finish myself in the process."

Out of Character: I don't remember wolves going towards east city but during the night thieves would try to raid us. Usually they were from the peasant population so they were easy pickings. Anyway ow that you have our actions up we can take the next step based on what JB tells us. I was just anxious to move foward really.

Cleric Dark - Camp

Out of Character: Yup, you're right Fair. I was mistaken with the first trip to Death Mouth. Better like this. I forgot to tell the GM that we wanted to meet the man at the gate right away, but we should have to camp at least once so probably there's still time for that.

Thus saith Sword Master...

Out of Character: Good thing that John had a lantern and some oil with him so he can light it up for the nighttime now. smile.gif

In Character: Since it is nighttime now and the party needs a lantern to see what they are going, John says to the group, "It is getting darker and it is hard to see where are we going, I will light up my lantern", John lights up his lantern and after that, he will eat a ration and drink the other half of the water left from the first water skin from last time.

Specific Action: Light up the lantern with a flask of oil and eat a ration and drink the other half of water left from the first water skin that John is having from last time.

Thus saith Sword specialist...

Out of Character: Kind of a rock and a hard place we're finding ourselves. We want to see where we're going but at the same time we don't want to let everyone know where we're going. Maybe we should camp? Really its silly to do that now since we wanted the advantage of the dark.

In Character: Dante feels uncomfortable riding and can't see where he's going. Having a damaged horse or worst yet him being thrown from the horse when all his strength is needed will be the worst at this point.

Cleric Dark - Camp

In Character: Cagliostro turns to his companions: "Why all this secrecy? Is somebody waiting for us on the road?". This kind of precautions when traveling are something new for him. On the contrary, he always tried to attract the attention everywhere he went in the hope of getting some customer for his "Magic services". Riding in the forest, without a light, is an even newer experience. "Maybe camping is not a bad idea", he says thinking loudly.

Out of Character: I will just subtract 1 gold rather than eat one of the rations so I will not need to touch my water either. Yours decision about what to do now, I will just follow. I still think that we are not famous enough to be in danger if traveling on the road and, moreover, trying to divert the attention at all cost may end up in attracting even more attention with weird behaviors (riding in the forest but declaring where we are to everybody with the torches). Camping would not be silly.

Thus saith Sword specialist...

Out of Character: If we camp then that means we won't get into the city until sun rise? I thought we are like trying to go under the cover of darkness or something like that?

Camp - Dark Cleric - Page 224

Out of Character: Just my opinion, but if we want to travel by night we should stay on the road. Riding in the forest with only a dim illumination is risky. John lantern is not enough anyway, we need at least another source of light.
We want to find the man by the gate when in the city, the one that Horde told us about. What if we get there during the night and he is not on duty because is sleeping? We make a risky travel only to wait there for sunrise. And, by the way, what can eventually happen on the road that can't happen in the forest as well?

Camp - Dark Cleric World Medieval PBP RPG - Page 224

Out of Character:: I removed the gold for my ridding equipment and 1 days worth of rations and added the equipment to my equipment.

In Character:: While I do not like traveling at night it has it's advantages. Not sure we have to be famous to be hunted. Many of old warriors find themselves nothing more than Highwaymen when they are unemployed. I prefer not to fall prey to any of my old friends.
