Out of Character: Sgtlee I think you might be a little mixed up. You're not with Lady Godiva, you're back at the camp. I also think the horse is familiar because it belonged to the cleric's war wagon, something we overlooked for sure. If there are specific questions Godiva needs to ask let me know but I think we should do some feeling out first.
Out of Character: Dante got a 22 so he got himself a juicy rabbit. What do you guys make of that man's sudden reaction about the cleric is that all an act?
In Character: "Yes!" Dante shouts as he gets himself some breakfast. He takes it back to camp with a proud grin to see if anyone did better.
Out of Character: We made a mistake: we are in Indonesia, not in East City! Also here everybody always ask you a hundred questions, like if you are a celebrity, and keep calling you "Mister, mister, mister" (laugh)
I think that the reaction is just a way to drive any suspicions away from himself. We have a whole day before the appointment at the river. I will try a diversion with these people here and try to gain some general information about the environment. After this, we should scout the place suggested by Jacobson, so we know where we have to go and we can get an idea of the terrain features in the broad daylight. He doesn't know about the rest of the party and having three warriors hidden in strategic positions could save us from bad surprises.
Out of Character: Maybe this city is like Indonesia but I hope it doesn't get us in trouble. The whole idea behind our separation was to come inconspicuously but its turned out all the opposite.
In Character: Lady Godiva walks away not looking at the man hoping that it really all is just an act. She mounts her horse, says nothing to anyone and starts heading back to the camp.
Out of Character: Let's try to give some false clues to the curious mob before leaving, just to fog their minds a little.
Specific Action: Cagliostro smiles to the people gathered around him. "I'm a seer", he says, "And a magician. I can tell the future and predict events as well as communicate with the spirits in the astral plane. This horse was given to me as a payment for my services. I will show you something...". Cagliostro takes a gold coin from his purse and starts playing with it: he makes it run on the back of his hand and then, with a rapid movement, disappear inside the sleeve of his shirt. After a moment, he shows the other hand where the coin appeared right in his palm. A trivial trick, that hopefully could distract the people from thinking too much about the horse and the other unanswered questions.
After that, he smiles once again to the crowd and, mounting on the warhorse, joins Lady Godiva on her path back to the camp.
