Out of Character: Why do you put "DA"? You're supposed to put an "S" instead of a "D".
Specific Action: Lady Godiva leaves not saying anything to anyone and heads back to the camp.
Out of Character: Actions posted. Sorry for the delay but I was terribly busy yesterday and this morning. Now I'm curious to see in which kind of troubles I got myself with the last action. I made a mistake during character creation: for the kind of character I wanted to make I should have chosen Perform as one of my secondary skills...
Out of Character: He's asking you to roll twice so it must be twice the trouble you like being the party joker don't you? Before I put actions I will need to see how your roll comes out now and if I end up having to save your butt!
In Character: Lady Godiva can only shake her head at the commotion that is being stirred up by the naive magician. She knows what this city is like and would not talk or try to entertain anyone.
She makes a sign to him as though asking What the hell are you doing? as she begins riding away.
Out of Character: 11 and 17. Let's hope I survive playing with a coin, with magicians even a gust of wind is something that has to be feared...
I'm trying to save our butt, Fair. If we just walk away these people will submerge our contact with questions and probably setup a city-wide hunt for us. Maybe this will not work but better than nothing. I considered saying I was searching for the owner of this horse, to give it back, but I thought it was simply too dangerous.
In Character: Dante sits eating his roasted rabbit. He looks at Aose and John eating rations and feels sorry for them, "Want a leg?" He holds up a piece of rabbit leg.
Out of Character: Bruconero dude what are you doing? East city isn't a place to clown around. Better get on your horse and get out of there while you still can.
Out of Character: Everybody is around us and they recognized the horse. If we just walked away they would probably chase us and I thought it was better die because I tried something rather than because of an arrow in my back. I'm trying to divert the attention and, who knows, if I become popular I can make up some kind of story to explain our presence and why we have the horses. I thought that, with some luck, I could turn a disadvantage in an advantage for us.
If they believe I'm a magician and I have powers maybe they will believe I'm in good relationship with the dark cleric and this would loosen their tongue.
Ok, my crazy idea is this: I amuse the crowd with a trivial trick (looks like I succeeded in that). The coin trick is something silly for us but consider: 1- My character only knows "Magic" circus tricks (coin, games with cards, rabbit in the hat and so on. But I have no cards or rabbits, so has to be the coin. 2- They don't have tv or frequent shows so, for them, is something new and amazing (hopefully).
When they switch from "Angry mob" to "Curious crowd" status (which just happened), I can come out with something more incredible like:
This horse was given to me by an adventurer as payment for my services. But I can communicate with animals and the horse told me he was stolen. I'm looking for his owner or anybody able to give me some information about his owner's whereabouts.
Risky? Yes. Crazy? Yes, yes, yes. But this is Cagliostro: a swindler, a smart clown, a charlatan pretending to be a mystic guru. If I survive enough to level up I will get better at these things and risk less. But, rather than watch the horses until I die, like with my old character, this time I'll have fun and try to solve the problems in an unconventional way.
Well, back to the topic. That story I imagined has the good side of being able to bring us right away to the closest partners of the Dark Cleric and maybe to his den.
The drawback is that we will not be able to get them by surprise or keep a low profile but, after all the commotion here, I doubt we would have that luxury anyway.
I'm only afraid somebody could recognize Lady Godiva. The rest of us, we are complete strangers for the Dark Cleric minions so we could be anybody.
Any feedback, suggestion or insult?
Out of Character: Dude I'll give you points for your imagination but I don't know how its going to work out. You're like figuring this story out but you don't even know if it will play out like that because you're not the GM. Anyways this is more about Fair and her character because she is the one there with you maybe you can at least let her ride away so she can get back to us and tell us how good your magic show was.
