Out of Character: I say to transport them tie their hands behind their banks with piece of leather or some strips of cloth you can cut from their own clothes. Then tie them in a line with rope around their necks like a cable tie and lead them back that way. Only need two people to take them back then. One in from pulling them along with the rope and one in back with a bow to shoot any who try to escape. That's what I would do. That way you keep others back for the meeting. Send any who is injured back to they can be healed some.
Out of Character:: I recommend that we tie them to a tree here, leave two guards. They are not going to overpower two people. Send the others to the meeting. Come back and take them in. We may receive some information that the elders want. We do not want to go to the meeting point with them. They will see our contact and if we turn them in alive they can report our contacts name (they are from the same town, they may know each other). Plus I would not stop to meet a bunch of strangers in the woods when they already have two people tied up. Just a thought.
Specific Action:: Tie two captives to the tree, hands behind their back, legs folded indian style (it makes it harder for them to stand up)-Trust me I have done this before. Rope across their chest and tie their legs to each other. (If they would escape it would prevent them from attacking both guards).
Out of Character:: I recommend Cags stay because he is already hurt. If you leave them with Aose alone they will end up dying ttrying to escape. I would like to go with the group to the meeting point but will stay behind with the "Prisoners" if it will help make the decision.
Out of Character: Lets move time ahead for a moment. So we tie them up, Lady goes to get whatever information and when she returns we are back in the same situation except its night now. Honestly, I hate the idea of taking them back to the village. I also hate thinking we have to just execute them. Really all of this is just something keeping us back from our ultimate goal.
Out of Character: Time is due and I had to post actions to avoid bad things happening. I decided to delay the solution to the prisoners problem because the actions posted here were clashing between each other. Now we should have other two days to search an agreement.
Out of Character: I think the decision to tie them up and guard them is a good one for now until we can figure out what to do with them. Lets see what transpires with the contact and go from there. We may have need to go back to the village after we meet with the contact.
Out of Character: The problems we had with this last game update are a symptom of a worse illness that could strike our party during the adventure: stillness. The group counts now 6 members and is not easy to coordinate such a party without a certain degree of organization and, like it or not, centralization. In a different situation, I would propose to put to the votes the election of a coordinator. But, since I accepted to become the Party Leader, probably I should take that role.
Therefore, in order to be able to respect the 2 days limit set by the Master for this game, I decided to put a small list of internal rules for the management of our posts. I believe rules are unavoidable if we want to have a chance of succeeding in our mission. As I said elsewhere, a large group without a leader is like a bunch of screaming cats during the mating season. The first draft of my list reads as follows:
1-One "Specific Action" per game update. If 6 people post a new action everytime they change their mind or forget something, I will spend all my free time sorting posts which I don't want. It means, THINK before posting your action. Maybe we can organize ourselves like this, since we have two days: first day, discussion, and second day actions.
1b- As a consequence, I don't hold myself responsible if I end up choosing the wrong action when more than one are posted from the same player.
2- Like I did during the last update, if I have to post our decisions when no real decisions have been taken, I will freely decide what the party will do following the majority (when possible) or following my own judgement (when everybody have a different idea on what to do).
I would start with these 2 simple rules. Others could be added in the future if necessary.
Needless to say, I'm not the Party Leader by divine right or because of superior skills so, at any time, if somebody disagrees with the way I manage this role I'm ready to step aside.
