Out of Character: Guys, this is the second time this happens so is useless if I apologize for it. The only thing I can do is put my role as party leader in your hands since, with the introduction of the time counter, I'm not able to respect the timeline unless I really change my lifestyle to be on time with the posts.
My problem is that I am in a completely different time zone from you guys, something between 9 and 12 hours ahead of your time, so my choices are: posting 9 hours before the two days limit or being late.
I'll also inform the Master about this and ask if he can be a little more flexible: his game update was 2 hours ago and the counter of the previous update says 2.1 days ago which means he posted at 1.9 days. If he could wait an hour or two I would not be late. Being patient a couple of hours is not so much, considering also that last time he updated the game 23 hours after my party leader post, so he knows that sometimes people can be busy.
Sorry again, but I can't do anything about it: is big season now and I don't have time to post at weird hours anymore.
Out of Character: I would have been pissed if I didn't get a good roll on this specially when I just saved us from the drunk.
Specific Action: Rolled a 3, keep moving.
Out of Character: Oh man! I got a 19! John is in real trouble now! I hope he doesn't lose any HP for that.
Specific Action: John will try to keep moving and continue to look around the back of the tavern to see what he can find or spot.
Out of Character: Dang, and you're next to me, I better start running far from you now so I don't get anything contagious from bad luck.
Out of Character: Got 18 and serves me well.
Our Master could not help with my request of more flexibility since it would create problems to his own schedule as well so I find myself in a difficult situation. You guys are more or less on the same time zone but I'm in the other part of the world (Literally) and this creates a big problem: all of you go sleep, wake up and go to work more or less at the same time while I do it at hours that, for you, are at least weird. As a result, you guys post more or less at the same hour while I do it during your night or early morning.
So, it often happens that at 1.5 days since the last update, which means there's still a lot of time, I'm about to go sleep or start working so I should post actions even if somebody is still not there. In the past I was correcting this issue posting from my phone at weird hours to avoid penalties to come and still being able to wait for everybody but now, because of increased workload as well as a series of personal problems that have no big relevance here, I can't anymore.
Three solutions for this problem:
1- Somebody else becomes the Party Leader.
2- You accept that, sometimes, I might post actions ahead of time without waiting for everybody.
3- We adopt a system similar to the one in Future Earth (Which I would avoid because I still think it will create problems and I would like to see it tested first before using it extensively everywhere).
So, any feedback?
Out of Character: Something that we used to do was like having a co-party leader so if the time was getting close then the co-leader would post party order.
Out of Character: That can be an idea. I'm not always in that situation. I mean, sometimes the timing is just perfect and I can post when the limit is close but still at a safe distance. The problem is when, like last time, I could post while chatting with you about alignments but still people missing and then I can come back only several hours later. I thought I would make it on time but, if penalties are dealt as soon as the clock strikes the hour, it becomes very difficult for me.
Anybody wanting to become co-leader?
