Out of Character: I was kind of thinking out loud. Alright we know what we are dealing with and it ain't a walk over. I don't know who the hooded person is but I doubt the cleric will just be there sitting by himself he'd probably be surrounded by guards or something. Maybe one of us should walk over to the bar and like get something and take a peek.
In Character: Dante isn't saying anything but he is wondering to himself what is going to happen tonight, will he die?
Out of Character: Whoever this person who is hooded we should spy on him or her if we can to know if that is really the Dark Cleric if that is true every character should give it their all to kill him.
Out of Character: If that were the cleric we would need to run, we can't like attack him and worry about everyone else in this tavern that attacks us.
Out of Character: Remember we are not the only ones on this quest right now. I would think the hooded person as Wanderer and if she is in the tavern then our odds of winning are greatly improved. I say we just attack and see what happens. IF the hooded person does turn out to be the cleric then we run as quick as possible for the front door. I can try to cause a diversion.
In Character: Grouth will order a drink of ale and then mention he needs to hit the outhouse. He will walk over to where the guard is standing by the door and ask him to step aside so he can use the outhouse.
Out of Character: Dude and if you're wrong? Remember we don't have horses so we will be running with them chasing in the middle of this dang rouge city! Still I forgot about Wanderer being on this mission too but if its like really her how will she know we are friendlies?.
Out of Character: No need to be in a hurry. Think first, act later. This is the main advantage of playing by post: lot of time for planning and considering things.
We have to base our actions on what we know not on what we suppose. The hooded figure could be Wanderer or anybody else but better if we think for ourselves. There's too many people in the tavern now: let's drink and chat while waiting and preparing our strategy.
Specific Action: Cagliostro will answer to the wench: "Five mugs of your best one, Darling. And a sweet smile from your beautiful lips". He will try to look a little bit like a jerk, just to blend with the surrounding villains.
When the wench will go away with the orders he will have a long look around taking note mentally of the position of every table, the counter, doors and looking for shape and position of the stairs.
Specific Action: Stay where she is looking briefly at the others as though she is talking but really she is just keeping a low profile.
Out of Character: I'm for waiting a bit. I'm know here so I rather not be moving too much to bring attention to myself. A map of the place will be brilliant.
Specific Action: Dante will go to the bar and explain he is a new traveler to the city and looking for a room for the night if any place can be recommended. On his way to and from there he will try to get a glance of the woman at the table.
