Knowing that Lady Godiva's remark was meant at him, Dante turns to Lodewic with a sarcastic smile on his face,
"You will allow her to talk to you that way?"
"Leave Lodewic out of this or are you using him as a cover because you're afraid to face a maiden?" Says Lady Godiva quite happy to hold her own.
Dante rises from his chair and bows at Lady Godiva,
"Not afraid my lady, we can dance anytime you like."
He breaks a sarcastic grin while extending his hand to her.
With a twist of her lips she rises as though to accept Dante's offer and then immediately sits back down. With a sarcastic looks she says,
"I would do it but I am otherwise engaged in the more important matter of drinking my ale."
"That ale must really taste good to refuse an offer to dance with me, you do not know what you are missing..." Says Dante in a polite manner.
She raises a brow at how much Dante is full of himself,
"I'm pretty sure I know what I'm 'missing'"
She replies back while slurping some ale and making a puckering sound with her lips.
Dante laughs before taking his seat.
"Good one, good one" He admits while grabbing his own mug of ale and taken a few gulps.
Lady Godiva can do nothing else but crack a grin at Dante's admittance of her superior charisma. She rests back confident that if he should come back with any more sarcasm he will get a taste of her wrath.
