"Wait... Did you say a mercenary or did you say have mercy on you?"
She sits up a bit as she is most intrigued in this new found stranger.
She continues to look him over trying to visualize the man as a mercenary but it only causes her to laugh scandalously.
The woman seemed a little tipsy. Was she flirting with him while intoxicated? Rasputin wasn't sure he approved. Females were unpredictable creatures. One moment she's your best friend, the next she's slitting your throat with a dagger. He rather liked his throat the way it was. As such, he made sure to keep eyes upon both her hands at all times.
Besides, Rasputin came here to gather information--not give it. He silently prayed he wasn't wasting his time by talking to this wench. "I am a soldier for hire."
Dante brings his hands to his face while shaking his head in disbelief of what he is seeing but he knows better than to interrupt.
Out of Character: Including you there are four confirmed. Kntoran usually plays too but hasn't said anything. Also we have an NPC with us from our last visit to a fishing village.
Out of Character: Cool. We are still trying to gather some strength and head towards the south. If you're in then that means there are 5 of us plus a NPC thief. I think Rasputin is still trying to buy a bow but I'm not sure how far away he is from doing that.
"Soldier for hire eh?"
Lady Godiva goes back to her table and calls the small man over with a wave of her hand as though she would be a ruler over him.
"Tell us some tales of what you did as a soldier."
She puts her boots on the table and crosses her arms waiting.
Out of Character: Are we using the party leader system or every man a post for himself?
As soon as Rasputin takes a seat, John looks at the man carefully as he says to him,
"A solider for hire, eh? I would like to know about your stories".
He chuckles at the way the man looks because the way he dresses himself like a warrior even he is not like one.
Out of Character: Posting our own actions seemed to work better than waiting on a party leader who ended up being late but if we chose a party leader that we could be sure was here early then I rather a party leader. Maybe Rasputin could do that at some point if he remains active.
In Character: Dante shakes his head while looking at Lady Godiva.
