Out of Character:
* Oops... It seems my purchases started the quest. Sorry everyone.
* If anyone has any last minute shopping to do, now is the time.
* Which ever way we go, I couldn't afford a horse, so Rasputin may need to go with someone if horses are used.
* When we find the Dark Cleric, we should try to kill him from a distance to avoid the -1 HP aura. If we could some how trap him in a trapper trap, then shoot him full of arrows, that might actually work.
* Before leaving the village, I would like to try trapping something as I didn't have enough gold to purchase any rations. It would be unfortunate to die from starvation.
Out of Character: Yeah, you need to wait until everyone is ready but it does not matter now because we have to get our actions posted within 2 days of JB's update.
You want to trap food in the village? Don't you mean you want to go in the woods or whatever? You really should have gotten some rations because in the South its like a desert. I'll exchange some of my FP soon enough to get some extra stuff.
Out of Character: Yes, Dry Rations are good and I was going to buy some, but the archer preparations cost 9gp and I felt the last gold was better spent on water rather than food because thirst kills quicker than starvation.
I was thinking using this as my action.
Out of Character: OK this was quick. I think I'm ready to go but by the time I get my actions in I will probably have bought a few things.
In Character: The 'soldier' doesn't reply with any tales making the whole conversation a bore. She finishes the rest of her ale and simply says,
"Okay, we'll see what you're made of just don't get in my way!"
Rasputin gave the 'wench' a confused look, not realizing she was part of an adventuring party. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to distract you from your other more important customers. You were the one that came here, remember? I didn't order anything."
Out of Character:If there are no objections, I will post the suggested action post in about four hours.
Out of Character: I just added my actions.
In Character: Dante stands up and addresses the man,
"Look if you want work then how about helping us defeat evil? How about if gold is involved, more than you could probably make in a year."
He pauses to see if the man looks interested then continues,
"Just follow us now to the south and I will tell you more on the way."
In Character: Fair Maiden believes the man to be delirious so she does not answer. She knows with just one movement of her hand he would be dog meat so it was not worth the hassle. She finishes up her ale, gathers her stuff and heads for the south, but upon hearing what Dante says she responds,
"He will walk or ride with you!"
Out of Character: I already had all that my character needed.
Rasputin looked to the man who addressed him. "If gold is involved, I'll help you defeat whoever you want." He wasn't sure how much help he'd be, being a new adventure and all. But, that's also why he didn't even bother asking how much gold would be paid. He was broke. Right now, he really didn't care how much gold was involved. He just wanted some work.
Rasputin gave the wench a weird look when she made her comment. He didn't understand why she even cared whether he walked or rode. It's not like he'd be here to get in the way of her tavern duties anymore. She should be happy he was leaving.
Rasputin looked back toward the knight. "Well, I'll meet you and your group by the gates. In the meantime, I'll be doing some trapping. Give me a holler when everyone is ready to depart." He left the village and started setting some traps.
