Merlin remembers that around now the village has these festive activities so no one may be thinking about adventuring at the moment. He suggests that after the festival is over maybe they can get back to bandit head banging.
Lady Godiva hadn't thought about the "festival" pulling everyone away but it does not matter to her because she is always ready for the next encounter with the dark forces and she cannot celebrate anything until she sees the dark cleric biting his own dust.
Out of Character:: Are we sure of our location? We may already be in the village were the elders are. I don't know either exactly how far of a travel it is to the elders. Maybe the best time to travel is during the festival as everyone will be occupied.
Out of Character: We are in THE village where we usually start. The tavern there having a drink and the festival I was talking about was just role-play I was kind of tying in that its Christmas time so we probably won't get new players joining us right now.
Her thoughts start to wonder as nothing engages her skills at the moment. She starts to wonder about sideline work she could probably do but then again if she got into that there wouldn't be time to get back to the dark cleric. She just sits and watches the rim of her ale's mug.
Merlin looks around the room and then starts to think about his goal as a by the way thing. He thinks about the difficulty in becoming a great wizard but also in the great respect he can have if he masters the arts. He decides to get to know his new friends better.
"What is your best skill and weapon of choice?"
Lady Godia thinks about her best skills. She never thought about it before because she saw herself as well rounded not focusing on one thing too much that she became dependent on it. She laos thought if it would be wise to reveal her best skill and make it a weakness. She thinks a bit and then simply says,
"Sword play", she then winks and drinks some ale.
Merlin grins. He knows this lady is going to be a hard one to crack so he tries to spice it up a notch by adding something to see how she will respond,
"Is that with actual swords?"
He then wonders if the ale is getting the better of him.
